Social Programme: Trips
Chichester English Language School (CELS) has a dedicated social programme coordinator. We want your time with us to be memorable. Our social programme is designed to allow our students to socialise, have fun, make lasting friends and immerse themselves in British culture. We aim to allow you to practice your newly developed English skills in a fun and immersive environment.
Meet new people and make lifelong friendships...participate in bowling, go-karting and cinema trips to cooking, karaoke, sports, indoor rock climbing, scavenger hunts and more.
Historic Stonehenge
Step into history with a visit to Stonehenge. Located in Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, Stonehenge dates back 4,500 years and is one of the world's ancient wonders.
Samuel Johnson said, "When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life". We say: Visit London with your international student friends (whatever your gender), and then return to the safety and beauty of Chichester!
Harry Potter world
Visit Harry Potter World with fellow CCG International students. Whether you are Gryffindor, Slytherin, a Muggle or a Wizard- Hogwarts offers a great day out!
Thorpe Park
Thorpe Park offers an adrenaline-packed day with thrilling rides and live events. Have you got the courage to ride the UK's faster roller coaster or to ride the SAW with its "beyond vertical" 100ft drop?
Visit Portsmouth's historic and nautical City on one of our day trips. Take in the Maritime Museum, beachfront, pier, watch the ships and take in the shops—all just 20 minutes from Chichester.
Home to Marwell Zoo, The Great Hall, Winchester Science Centre, and Planetarium, Winchester is just up the road from Chichester and offers a great day out.
Home to the world-famous Oxford University, Oxford is a Harry Potter-esque city of "dreaming spires" and old-world charm. Join us for a day of cultural heritage in this historic city.
Bristol is full of bridges, boats, bikes and bohemian charm. It's a city offering history and heritage mixed with multicultural and fantastic street art.
Bath City
Like Chichester, Bath dates back to Roman times. Set in the valley of the River Avon, Bath's hot water springs give the City of Bath its name. Take in the Georgian architecture and stunning Somerset countryside.
