The International Nursing & Healthcare Foundation Programme at Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) is a 9-month course designed to equip students with the essential academic and practical skills needed for a successful healthcare career. Course Overview
Throughout the programme, students will study a wide array of topics essential to healthcare, such as:
- Anatomy and Biology: Covering cellular biology, human physiology, and genetics.

- Professional Skills: Develop critical research, ICT, and academic writing skills.
This LASER Level 3 Access to Higher Education Diploma consists of 60 Level 3 credits, 45 of which are graded and 15 of which are ungraded. Students will be well-prepared to transition to various health-related university courses and career pathways upon completion.
Entry Requirements:
- Academic: English and Maths GCSE at grade 4 (C) or above (or equivalent). An IELTS UKVI score of 5.5 or higher is required for international students.
- Other Requirements: Applicants must be 19+ and firmly committed to the healthcare profession. Experience in health or social care is beneficial but not essential.
