A-Levels UK for International Students

We have two colleges offering British A-Level subject-led qualifications for international students, Chichester College and Worthing College, which have outstanding reputations. You can have confidence that you will be studying at a renowned institution with a strong track record of achievement and quality.

Chichester College is conveniently located in the heart of Chichester City and has on-site leisure, educational and accommodation facilities. Worthing College is located in the coastal town of Worthing and has travel links to popular UK locations like London and Brighton. Both colleges have a well-established network of British hosts that offer accommodation to our students.

Study three UK A-Levels and continue to higher education

Our international students typically study three A-Level subjects with a choice of study at our Chichester or Worthing campuses. A full A-Level takes two years to complete with us.

Most students who enrol on an A-level do so as preparation to apply to University. A-levels are considered the "gold standard" of UK qualifications and are used by numerous countries across the globe.

Qualification Requirements 1

  • 5 GCSE grades 9-4 (A*-C) in English, Maths and relevant subjects (or the equivalent).
  • UKVI SELT (overall CEFR B2 level) from an approved test centre with no element below B2.
  • For Maths and any Science A-Levels, a minimum of grade 6 (B) is required in GCSE Maths and Science (or the equivalent).
  • For computer science, students must have experience using high-level programming languages.

Entry Requirements

  • Must be 16 years and over.
  • A successful interview with a course leader or college officer. 
  • Provide a personal statement.  
  • Financial proof showing you have the necessary maintenance funds for your stay.
  • Compulsory supplements and other entry requirements may also apply (e.g. portfolio or audition for Art-related subjects).

Additional Information

  • Unavailable courses: English Literature and Language, Law, History, Politics and Media Studies*.
  • English Language Support coursebook fee: £90**.
  • Transition Project: Successful candidates are required to complete a GCSE to A-Level transition project.

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships of £2,250 per student will be awarded based on the interview and the student's academic results.
