Our English Language team are passionate about encouraging growth and support through teaching and collectively have many years of experience between them.

All team members undergo continuous professional development each year to ensure that skills are current and in keeping with best practices.

Stephen King: Director of Studies

Stephen is the Director of Studies for our language school and has worked at Chichester College for over 20 years. He works hard to ensure students are welcomed and receive a first class experience. Stephen also volunteers as a governor of a local school that he helped set up.

Kirsty: Assistant Director of Studies

Kirsty holds a diploma and a master’s degree in Chinese Studies. With experience as a teacher and trainer both in the UK and internationally, she is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality in our classes and managing schedules seamlessly. Her commitment to our students is unwavering.

Sally: English School Administation

Sally fulfils a vital role in ensuring that our learner records are kept up to date and that the CELS office runs smoothly. Find Sally in the CEL administration office on the second floor of C-Block. Sally is always willing to help- no matter the problem.

Damian: EFL Teacher

Damian is a Delta-qualified teacher who has taught in Japan, China and the UK. At Chichester College, Damian teaches general English, examination English, and the NCC International Foundation Year programme. Leisure activities include hiking and swimming.

Suzanne: EFL Teacher

Suzanne is Diploma qualified with more than 30 years of experience teaching English in the UK, Japan, Mozambique, and the UAE. She is passionate about helping students achieve their goals and, with examiner experience, is well-placed to prepare students for internationally recognized exams.

Caroline: EFL Teacher

Caroline is passionate about teaching not just English but also Yoga and well-being. Caroline supports several charities in her spare time and can often be seen walking the beach with her much-loved dog.

Louisa: EFL Teacher

Louisa grew up in Chichester and went to school around the corner from Chichester College. She went on to live in all three capital cities of Great Britain and spent time in Germany. In her free time, Louisa likes cooking, reading and jogging.

Duncan: EFL Teacher

Duncan has a long and distinguished career as an English teacher. When not working at Chichester English Language School he can be found walking in the countryside and persuing his love of nature.

Steve is a well-travelled teacher of English who brings a wealth of experience and a talent for helping our students develop their language skills.

Andrea: EFL Teacher

Helen is a seasoned educator passionate about guiding her students toward real-world success. She goes beyond teaching—ensuring that every skill learned in her classes is practical, relevant, and immediately applicable.

Anna takes care of our social programme- ensuring that our international students have exciting trip and enrichment activies to get involved in.
