General English 21

The primary focus of this course is to give you the maximum opportunity to study English. This more intensive English language course concentrates on improving grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation with a greater focus on the skills of reading, writing, listening, speaking and successful communication.

Our General English 21 programme provides a more intensive learning journey for those wishing to progress their English as quickly as possible whilst still having time to enjoy the benefits of staying in Chichester.

Class sizes are capped at 16 students per class to ensure you receive the best possible learning experience.

  • Available for students aged 16+.
  • 21 hours per week of EFL tuition.
  • Start any Monday*
  • Minimum stay of two weeks.
  • Maximum class size of 16 students.

*Start every Monday, apart from UK Bank Holidays and other college closure dates.

You can choose either English Extra or Exam Preparation for your afternoon option.

English Extra

English Extra

English Extra is designed to take the grammar and vocabulary you have learned and bring it to life in a communicative classroom environment. The four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing will be developed through various tasks and activities that put you at the centre of the learning process. As well as practising the four skills, you will be supported and corrected where appropriate on the accuracy of your English.

Exam Preparation

Exam Preparation

Exam Preparation classes (Level B1+) include Cambridge and IELTS exams. The classes familiarise you with the exam structures, and you will practise exam techniques, grammar skills and vocabulary knowledge to succeed. You will have full practice exams using past papers to give you all the skills and confidence to be prepared.
